Dear Ms. Rappaport,
Recently I had the privilege of working with two
of your care managers on behalf of my client who suffered a fall
which resulted in a broken wrist and a fractured skull.
Your
care manager immediately responded to the situation not only by
meeting the client at the emergency room but remaining at the hospital
until he was taken care of. All this time, she remained in constant
communication with me regarding the status of his condition. She
was very helpful in placing my client for rehabilitation upon his
release from the hospital. She took the time to check on him every
day during his stay in rehabilitation, even on the day she was scheduled
to leave on her well deserved vacation.
Since
I am a disabled person myself, I know first-hand how a nurse should
be with her patient. She should be kind, understanding, pleasant,
gentle, and most of all patient. Our Nurse Care Manager was all
of those things…not only that, she always went above and beyond
the call of duty. She took my aunt to all of her Dr. appointments
and any errands she had to get done. She even took her out to lunch.
She also took my mom and me to the airport so that we could catch
our flight home. I can’t say more than this: she is a terrific care
manager and a wonderful person to be around.
